billet grill for F 250

Just bought billet 3 piece grill ( bolt in) for $130.00 total. Is that a good deal ? Local shop wanted $180.00 . Hope to put in tonight. Is it hard to bolt in?? Do you have to pull the grill out??? What do you do with the ford emblem? remove it. New grill had NO paper work with it.

I dont know which grill you bought, that is a decent deal, Some you have to cut the original grill, some clamp fit, some bolt through...I would but the iluminated Ford emblem...That would be cool with the new grill....

11 MPG's? That should go up drastically. I get around 16 to 18 pulling.

People are missing the boat, the F250 PSD is the ONLY way to go!!!!!!! I love driving it. I drive a car to work everyday, to save miles/gas, but I REALLY WANT to drive my new 250. I can not wait to get new rims/tires 305s!! Getting Pro comps 305s on Alcoa rims. Need to sell my stock 265s, on stock chrome rims. IS $1100 to much for new stock rims/tires. Firestone ATs 265s?? 8 lugs look good 500 miles so far. For Sale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But the car I drive is a 2000 3.2 TL Acura, it is pretty sweet for a car, fast, loaded.. leather, heated seats, sun roof....... etc.. so it is not a piece of junk. Its fun to drive too. I got big red to PULL. I pull a 20 ft enclosed every weekend in fall and winter, then in summer pull my boat 1 1/2 hrs to the lake. Its 21 ft big wakeboard boat. So i will have to drive the car most of the time to work , but My truck will look and be new for a LONG LONG time!!! LOVE the diesel, and its GOOCHY.

Sorry--Goochy, yes the Acura's are sweet, great cars..I guess it is a good thing that you have the car to drive, There's one thing you dont have to worry about---buying another truck, By the time you put 400000 on it, you will be to old to have a drivers license..

I paid good money for mine and am going to drive it in to the ground..which is going to take 16 years at this pace..50000 in two years...The wife has the supercrew but I would rather drive the SD...

Well the good thing is the fact is- You are a firm believer in the diesel...Enjoy your TRUCK...and your car...

My wife was a car-girl as well, but now see wont drive anything less..See doesn't care for the SD, because I have the straight pipe on it...As soon as I get the lift going I am going to put a muffler on it...See does like the get-up-and-go...

Later this winter I am going to do a lot of work to the SCREW, Pull the interior and insulate it, sound system, exhaust, DVD..And most important get rid of those JUNK General tires!!!

Well not too sure on that mileage thing...Mines at 30K now and I got 11 Mpg back and forth to Florida last week towing a 5600 pound TT and gear at 65-75 in OD. 600 miles each way.

It would help if everyone would show those gera ratios in the signatures and anything else that may affect the effective ratio like changes in tires and such. So we could glance and see if you are similar set up as we are.

Mines a 4.10LS so there goes some of the milage right there.
