Would the 2004 V10 have a 3V engine with more hp than a 2002?

I'm lucky enough to have a 3v v10 truck. The 5star custom tunes I have are a definite plus. I'll have this truck forever. Not even 30,000 miles on her yet.

tuning

So I have an 05 V10 and I was wondering if anybody knew of a chip or a tune that would make it to where my truck only runs off 6 or 8 cylinders until I get on it or I'm towing something? I know some of the newer v8s have this option but I have absolutely no idea how to do it to my truck if it's even possible.

There is nothing you can do to get better gas mileage out of the V-10. Is, always has been, and always will be a gas hog. There's a lot more involved in cylinder deactivation than just a tune.
