tachometer

I have a 99 f250 with the v10 and I put an aftermarket tach in it and it reads 400 rpms to high is there a way to fix it by puting a resistor in line or something like that it is a sunpro sport ST.

Somebody here may know, but try browsing the Sunpro website and/or call their tech support/customer service also...

Good luck ~

I call tech and they told me it wouldnt even work because fords signal is different then what there tach reads but i hooked it up anyway and it worked its most accurate on v8 position. one of the technitions at my work said a resistor might work and talk around and see if any one has tryed it before.
