When will there be some deals on the 2006 ?

I've found the vehicle I want, but unfortunately it is a 2006 and the dealer won't deal much of any on it until the 2005's are out of the system.

I have not been able to locate a white 2005 F250 King Ranch 4x4 with sunroof in my area. Plenty of 2006's have hit the lineups in the last 2 weeks but no deals are to be had. Looks like I'll just cool it and wait it out until late fall or early winter.

Any advice?

Are you getting any kind of discount? A-plan or friends/family discount? i work for Ford and I could give you one of my friends/ family discounts if needed.

05 KR
I haven't heard of any incentive but I did just look it up out of curiousness and you were right 05 KR. I guess letters were mailed 6/15/05 to all employees about recieving 4 additional X plan pins for 05 (I didn't get mine yet). Which gives me a total of eight. <snip> This sounds like pretty good deal to me because people get current incentives plus the X-plan discount. So I guess I have some X-plan pins I would like to give to my new friends here. Scott

Please help me akascott

I'm trying to get rid of my F-150 and NEED to go back to a diesel (I previously had a 2002 Ford Diesel). Right now I think Ford is offering a $3500 rebate on diesels. I'm also trying to talk my fiance into letting me get one. This would be more of an incentive for me If you still have an X-plan pin can you please send me one.

scott,

My parents are looking to get a new f-250 next week to replace are cough chevy. Was wondering if you could spare one of those x-plan pins. That would be great.

Thank you,

Josh Payne

Just curious did you get a 2004 F150 (going by the 04fordman)? What is driving you back to a Diesel? I am looking to do the same thing haven't owned a Diesel but think I may have purchased the wrong way (after a couple things happened in the family). I am looking at retirement from the Marine Corps in about 2 yrs now and moving to TN. We will build our house there and I think the F250 would serve me better out there than the gas engine plus would need the bigger truck for the construction work and hopefully part time lawn service.

Any thoughts on this?

Also if anyone has 2 X-plan pins (need two because the wife wants a new Expy before retirement also) or if someone could take care of my with an upgrade plan pin and an X-plan pin to use for my wife.

Thanks for your thoughts and help with the plans.

Chris

Looks like Ford is announcing a new plan similar to GM's with employee pricing. We should see details tomorrow.

So far the Ford employee pricing applies to ONLY the 2005 models. GM has already anounced a $2,000 price reduction on their 2006 models pickups. I would guess Ford will follow soon or just expand the employee pricing to the 2006 as well.

"A" plan on the 05' right now.

Get a 48K truck for 38K, but not many F250's left in Florida.

No discounts on the 06' yet.

Ford just came out with new discounts. Saw national discount on 2006 F250 was $1000 cash back..You need to put in your zip to get discounts in your area...
