Talking Need input for 2000 SEMA truck

It is once again that time to start planning a vehicle for the 2000 SEMA show. I am going to be building a 4X4 Superduty, crew cab, diesel, long bed... no sure about SRW or DWR. What would you guys like to see in a truck that you haven't seen before in a show truck?

Thanks,

Ryan

Cool

Maybe it would help if you listed some of the common things that are usually done. Since I've not been to a truck show, I don't know what's being put on and what's not. I would like to see that diesel with a superchip, a pyro guage, maybe a boost gauge and maybe a trans. temp. guage. Also a DVD video system would be nice. Of course change out the stereo and speakers but keep them all hidden. A new paint job, custom graphics, not to flashy but something that will make your head turn. Change out the seats, is there some type of chaptains chairs that can go in the back seat?? Do something with the cupholders, the one's in the SD are pityful. Can you change out the carpet to something nicer? Do something with the bed! Maybe someone else can think of something, I'm out of ideas.

Hmmmmmm, Well if I had a Super Duty and Lots of money, It would be all black. And I mean ALL BLACK With Every possible accessory Black as well. A 4x4 Crew cab V10 Blown, Chipped, Duals, Grille Guard, Winch, Triple Roll Bars, maybe 38" Swampers. Limo tint all the way around. Video player in dash as well as in the head rests of the Front seats, Playstation 2 , DVD , alpine Stereo with two 12's. Like 15 KC"s

But I know this all sounds boring to you with that BadA$$ daily driver you got

hmm.. diesel.. how about Superchip, GaleBanks
turbo kit, Propane kit.. so
superchip = 50 hp, 100 lb-ft
g.b. powerpack = 120 hp, 256 lb-ft
propane kit = 100-200 hp? (wouldn't that
also reduce much of the fumes when in use due
to the cleaner burn?)

interior video system, satellite link for
communications.

and whatever you usually you do for an
awesome conversion

Thumbs up

OK Mr. superduty, here it is: Instead of building a CC truck or Excursion like everyone else, take a regular cab SD and shorten the frame, get a shortbed, and build a prerunner using bolt ons that the public can get, such as: soft National Springs, tire mounts, bed cage, multi shock mounts, front prerunner bumper with a winch, and rear bumper with a small winch. Racing seats and a killer sound system for the interior. Spray it with your business colors and logos, and even use your spray on stuff on the bumpers, rocker panels, and so forth. Use tall, narrow tires about 36" tall on stock aluminum wheels. Oh, and do the V-10 thing you did on your monster. No one else would have this truck. It would not be another Excursion or SC or CC truck. To cut on expense, use a Reg. cab long bed, but it wouldn't be as cool. Boy I miss AZ!

Cool

GPS with moving map display sounds good to me. Also, all stainless steel bed accessories: tool box, rails, tailgate cover. Check out http://www.putco.com as they seem to be the only ones with stainless tool boxes.

get a reg cab v10 4x4 and the same 15inchs of lift as on the other truck and add a custom 6 inch body lift(that would be BADA$$). And some 44 inch or bigger maybe goodyear trackter 50 inchers. Also put a camper shell on the bed to protect the 10 12inch subs and their amps.

that would we one nice truck.

I'd actually like to see a supercrew type F250. You know the same wheel base as a F250 Supercab with a crew cab on it and shorter 4 foot or so bed.
