Liteman24- Nice looking Expy!! What year model is yours? I had a 97 that had those same wheels and they were 16's. My 00 came with 17's from the factory. That may make a little difference in your speedo and tach when you swap. Take a tape measure and measure the height of your tire and when the wife gets back Ill measure these again and tell ya what they are, that way we can tell if there will be any changes in your swapping over.

So far no rubbing at all with the 305's. However, they look wicked on the truck, especially from the back.

Do you have any PICs that show the view from the rear? I think it is one of my (and all stock) Expy's weak points as the track (width of axle tire to tire) appears somewhat narrow for the rest of the truck.
Also, can you keep me posted as to the wear, handling, and any issues that may arise from you tire size selection, (such as adverse effects of hitting standing water puddles at speed)
I really like the look you acheived but I am reluctant to put VR or ZR rated tires on my truck as I would be replacing them every 15-20k the way my wife and I drive

I can't stress enough the importance of checking the clearance on the front. Have someone turn the wheel FULLY to the left and right position and check the clearance between the tire/rim and the brake line bracket. You will gouge your wheels or tires if it rubs. I put 285/60's on my Exp. and had to bend the brake line bracked back, file down the sharp edge of the bracket and switch the square head bolt with a round head bolt. 4X4's May not be a problem, but I'd check just in case.
One other point since you bought replica Lightning wheels. If you experience balancing problems, check the rim to see if it's off-center. The Exp's are hubcentric.
Enjoy, and the wheels/tires look great.

edamon- Truck looks awesome!! Ill agree with KSinLA though, I also had to bend my front brake line brackets because they rubbed when making sharp left or right hand turns, makes a loud "scraping" noise. I still believe your gonna have a rub problem, you wont really hear it unless your listening for it, but after some steep inclines and speed bumps, look at the drivers side rear frame rail just behind the tire and see if its rubbing that plastic cover. Better safe than sorry.
Awesome lookin' ride!

I put a set of 295/45/R18's on a set of Roush rims, and they handle great! I have 4WD with LLS, and they do not fill the wheel wells with much rubber. But the handling is vastly improved! I keep a set of 34" offroad tires for 4 wheeling, and winter driving, so I really don't care how it looks.

Petrol -
I'll get a pic from the ground-rear for you tomorrow, the 305 is perfect, they look huge from the rear. This is how ford should send them out from the factory, rather then with pizza cutters.

there is some rubbing I've now noticed on a turns with the wheel cut all the way over right or left. I'll look into modifying that bracket.
