Yes definetly torsion bars have got to go. its strange that no one makes lowered spindles for the 4wd like the chevy ones.

It took me nearly 6 months to find a 2wd expo up here in canada, their all 4wd. Damn snow.

Well I guess more people mod Tahoe's then Expeditions thats why. I have a friend that has a 2000 2wd Expo with a bad motor and he is looking to get rid of it. He wants too much money for it but bagging my truck would be so much easier with a 2wd frame under it.

If that deal doesn't happen I'm thinking of fitting the suspension from an 06 Expedition to my truck. This way I would eliminate the torsion bars and use Ride Techs Shock Waves in the front. I'm not looking to lay frame, I just want to sit it on the tires at shows.

thanks expedition4x4, btw your Nav is bagged right? whats your setup?

Looks like I have decided on regular bags up front for the air bag set up. I was wavering on getting shickwaves but the thought of the weight of the truck on what was supposed to be the shock allone just didnt sit right with me. Yes I know theres lots of them out there. Blah blah blah. But my trucks a daily driver and it would bother me every time I drive it.

And just so we're clear. This is what the expo should be at next spring when I get everything together.

Damn, cold weathers really coming in now here so mods will be slowing down unless I can get some time in the install bay. I am hoping to still in stall the bulk of the rest of the stereo in its first generation to tide me over as I build the second. Also i will be installing a remote start and GPS tracking next week.

Oh and I put my stock rims with snow tires back on yesterday and wow do they feel weird! Looks very strange too.

my 3/3 is prety low and kinda rough.

Really its Temp till I get all the Air Suspension parts together.

Oh and looks like I'll be doing some mods sooner than I anticipated, the kids rear racing car seat has rubbed a hole in the back of the passenger headrest. *DANGNABBIT*
But that means the seat goes forward facing now and the head rest monitors goin in as well. Oh darn lol.
