What is a 7989? What brand? I would let the engine cool. How many miles on them?

Champions they only have less then 200 on them but going down the interstate today pick up miss fire so I stopped by AZ had them check codes and found 5 and 8 had missed fired. I just don't want to mess up the treads and these are one piece plugs I hope I don't have to worry about breaking one.
Thanks for a very quick reply.

Are you contemplating removing them all for another brand?
Would you be able to post pics of the misfiring units? Jbrew will want to see those, lol.
Good luck, sir.

The new Motorcraft is supposed to have a smaller shank. That with the nickel antisieze on the shank should allow them to come out from now on.
On the Champions, I have heard of guys cracking the insulator during installation. They seemed extra brittle and of course, some of them are in tight quarters.
