Exclamation 97' Expy with rear bumpin noise

I have a 97' Expy 4x4 i am getting a rear bumping noise when going over small bumps or even just idleing accross a stone driveway. I replaced all the sway bar bushings with no change. It does have the rear coil springs too. any ideas? The noise is driving me crazy!

Yeah i had her painted about a year ago. I bought it from a friend and his now ex girlfriend keyed it from top to bottom even the the hub caps! I have replaced almost everything that was keyed. You can still tell a little on all 4 windows. I only bought it because i got a steal on it and it was almost perfect with no rust on the body. As for the underneath i have no idea why its so rusty...michigan winters mabe..But i have been picking away at it, i got the whole front half underneath done. painted it with chassis saver..its looking good. I just added the brush gaurd and taillight gaurds and im waiting for my roof basket/carrier to get done.

Did you find the cause of the bumping noise?

I havent painted the trim yet. But i do have flat trim paint for it just havent had the time. The back pillars were untouched but the side ones were not so lucky.

I finally put the new shocks on today! The old ones were shot you would push them in and it would take about 5min to come back out. Also the shock bolts were badly worn in the centers. Replaced them as well and rides good as new noise is gone.. Thanks for the advice!
