I was reading the March issue of Truckin mag. and came across the spintech gts side exit exhaust system article. Looks nice, came to the decision about trying it out on my 2001 f150 4.2 and maybe try to wake it up a little? Went to their website and upset to find out they make it only on the 4.6 & 5.4 or do they? Ok here's my question? In the mag. they said it's made for the v6's and v8's so does anyone out there know anything about spintech and maybe could share some info?

i ordered the gts system should be getting it next week? i have the 4.6...sorry ..but i'll let you know how it sounds and any performance adds..i have a Jardine system and i don't like the sounds of it..needed somthing new..have yet to talk to anyone that has a spintech system!!

 

I had one installed on my 5.0L mostly because my old exhaust was shot. I wanted something that was freeflowing but quiet thinking there was no such thing. To my surprize that's exactly what SpinTech claimed. That's exactly what I got. You can go loud if you want also. What I really liked was the sound. It's kinda hard to describe, sort of a deep growl. It does get loud when you romp on it which I like. The best of both worlds. I ordered mine from them directly and they were very helpful. just installed a spintech on mine this sat. very pleased with the system and the sound.

 

I'm going to go ahead and give them a try! I've heard some really good comments from alot of people. I'll be ordering jba headers along with the spintech system. How much did you guys end up paying?

 

hey i finally got the spintech system on !!! holy *******ing crap !!!it sounds awsome! my buddy came over with his 2002L with the BASSANI system on it and they sound almost exactly the same ...i have a little more pull now than my jardine set up had so i have to give it a big thums up!!
