How to keep exhaust pipes from touching?

I had dual exhaust installed on my 2003. The pipes touch where they go over the axle, so when you go over a bump or slam the door, you can hear them hit. Is there some sort of high temperature tape/wrap that might work? Or a fireproof type spacer to go between? Another hanger won't really help. I saw the repair tape at Autozone, I wonder if I wrap enough of that around a pipe might help. Any ideas?

Whoever did the install didn't bend the pipes correctly.

Take it back to the pipe bender guy and let him fix it, it'll improve his skills. Extra hangers can stabilize pipes, they don't all have to just "hang", they can go sideways too.

As quoted, have the shop make it right. Exhaust hangers will do wonders.
