id help you, but i have no idea what borla boomers are. where did you see them?

 

The Boomers are made for import/ "sport compacts" aka Ricers. You could put them on your truck. I have seen one personally on a new Silverado and it did not look good at all! But its your truck and your free to do want you want with it.

Dual your exhaust off the cat...glasspack on each (since you like cherry bombs so much) and send them out the back with 3.5" dia 18" long angle cut stainless steel tips. Find a good custom exhaust shop to do it for you.

 

it sounds like a fart in a bathtub. be a man and get duals out the rear.

 

On second thought...for better sound. Do one glasspack and dual it off of that. It will be louder. But beware that you may not get the glasspack sound that you have heard on others. They sound great on engines without converters...but with converters I think you would be better off with a Flowmaster or no muffler at all. IMHO...people with V-6's should not get dual exhaust. I am a V-8 purist and anything else just does not sound good. The only six banger that sounds good are straight six diesels on semis. But to each his own. If you want it go ahead.

 

havent heard of them, and I thought I researched Borla pretty thoroughly... doh! anyway, went and got the borla catback SI/DO and like it... not loud tho, so if you want loud, this aint it....
