Hey all, I have a 07 5.4 withy the manifolds warped and leaking: what are some good options on headers? And how much will it cost to get the work done? Don't feel like putting headers on again. Thanks

 

OBX longtube kit and Magnaflow 94136 cats inplace of the OBX resonators. $550 for the kit, $160 for cats, probably $500 installed.

 

Depends...about 1k+ to install headers where I am. Just install

 

I agree, I have the OBX kit and am happy with it for the most part. $575 for the kit, $100 for locking header bolts, $70 for new gaskets, no cats, then it's definitely over $1k for install. I did it myself, but the labor listed for the install is around 10-12 hours IIRC. And some shops will charge over that because it's not an OE install and there's more work involved.

 

Gibson makes some nice headers. Personally, I think the stainless ones are a great bang for the buck at $500. If they made them for my 4.6L truck, I'd have a set already. But they do make them for your 5.4L.
