FYI, I think it used to be to be a national chain. Had one in the town in middle of Florida where I grew up but all the ones around here are long gone.

 

No problem! You just have to factor in time and fuel costs if you're gonna go to the opposite side of Houston to have it done haha.

I'm also surprised at how "small" they are. Been around about as long as McDonald's if I'm not mistaken.

 

ok another question. I got my magnaflow yesterday and now im kinda stuck again. It looks as if it can only be welded on. I don't mind having it welded but id have to go to a shop and if I can just bolt the pipes to the muffler and then bolt the extra length of pipe I needed together id really like that. It would be cheaper and I could do it myself. thanks

 

Why does it look like it can only be welded? I do think ones that are "meant" to be clamped have a collar/notch cut out (not sure what to call it) that allows the pipe's diameter to shrink when clamped. That's how mine is. But it can't matter that much.

 

The reason I think it cant be clamped is because it doesn't have those cutouts like you're saying. but I found a family friend that I can kinda ghetto rig it and drive to Conroe and have him weld it so we're all good

 

Sounds good! Could just use a pipe expander too.
