No it definitely makes sense, there's no use for 2.5" duals with a 2.5" system already there, I feel like I'd lose a lot of torque doing that, I just don't want to lose the deep tone I have if I go with dual 2.25". Otherwise ill just stick with siso.

Im running a borla pro SIDO set up like that on the raptor. Couldn't be happier. Left the stock resonator on. Nice deep rumble when I want it, sleeper when I behave. MPG also increased by about .5mpg.

That's why I went with SISO when I got my muffler. I thought 2.25" pipes would make it more raspy/crackly but I wish I had gone with the duals now. Just make sure you go with some fairly long and big diameter tips.

As long as it still comes together at some point, which yours does, it won't be raspy. Even with long tubes, my SIDO doesn't get raspy unless I really stomp on it and spike the RPMs really quickly

With my dual set-up on my old truck with would get a tad raspy, with LTs no cats and dual Borlas. And x-pipe

I should clarify that by "come together" I meant into a full single pipe for extended distance instead of just a crossover pipe.

I definitely didn't word that original statement properly for what I meant, not at all
