Complete exhaust overhaul

So I have a plan in my head to completely redo my entire exhaust. New headers, dual hi-flo cats, x-pipe, dual magnapacks, and tips. I've already priced the individual pieces at about $800 total and so I'm wondering what a fair garage would charge to install it all.

going with stainless steel piping and mandrel bent tubing? That would cost just as much as your parts alone though. I am willing to bet with smooth bent 16 gauge aluminized, that will run you almost, if not, $400.00.

I would stray away from the duals and run a single 3" and run dual tails, unless you could get 2.25" mandrel bent true duals.

treso15 Have you checked into what the install price is for your planned setup? This sounds like the same setup I want for my 04 FX4.

Install prices vary greatly from one region to the next. My LT install was about $250 ( ). IIRC, the same shop charged about that to fab up and install all the other components you mentioned in yer setup.

Dang that's cheap compared to what i paid to get lts installed. I paid 400 just to get the headers installed. But they broke like 5 studs i believe.
