What should I expect to get for my 98 cats?

After doing my 5.4 and long tube swap, I have my stock 4 cat set up in perfect condition. Any idea what I should expect to get for them for scrap?

Depends the area and what precious metal is going for. I got 114 for mine two years ago.

I have heard that it's not so easy selling used cats for scrap any more due to the widespread theft issue. More and more scrap yards won't touch them.

Yep had 4 stolen out of the back of my parts truck when it was sitting behind my dads warehouse. There goes $150 down the drain.

As usual, the prices around here are NEVER as favorable as elsewhere. I took $100 for the set. This was at the biggest and most reputable scrap yard near me. I'm sure I could have done better elsewhere, but my time is more important than $40-$50. I had a feeling I wouldn't do so well considering how much platinum has dropped recently.
