flow master vs magnaflow

I need a new muffler and i have always used a flow master 40 series, but i am not sure if i want it that loud on this truck.
2002 supercrew 5.4l - all stock.
I want it louder, but not extremely loud, which brand would be better: flow master 50 series maybe? or some kind of magnaflow? would like any advice you have.
I would like to stay economical because I am not going to do any modifications on this truck at all.
Thanks!

I'm happy with my 18" magnaflow but I have headers and no cats but if you planning on just a muffler swap, get yourself a Borla XR-1.

If you just want a replacement muffler and do not want to put a lot of money in as you mention, don't bother with the Borla. Get a cheap 14" Magnaflow. With your factory 4 cats, guarantee it will not be loud, but won't be un-noticed.

I miss the Flowmaster 50 series setup I had on my green truck...

sounded good, was neighbor friendly (if I drove it gently), and ZERO drone in the cab
