Just thought I'd show ya'll my exhaust since I got some pics up finally. Was suppose to be louder but I guess we have to settle! It's a flowmaster 40 series. Let me know what you think.

FM 40???

Have you felt a loss in low end power? What exhaust did you have prior, Factory?

How is the cab noise at Idle, Under a load, and cruise on HiWay?

Question Exhuast

When the truck is at idle you can barely tell that it has the dual exhuast on it. As far the loss of low end power, I don't think so. I've only had the truck 2 weeks and haven't really towed anything with it. BUt when I gun down the gas pedal she seems to respond and go pretty quickly, but then again I'm use to my reg cab F150 sport with a V6, so this is quite the jump for me. If the exhaust were a little louder I'd love it completely.

I didn't run tips out the end for fear of roading and crushing the pipes when climbing a steep hill. Has anyone else done this to their truck, let me know?

Question Duals?

So this is a dual in / dual out muffler? How long are those turn-downs? FM specifically states that their must be at least 8" of pipe after the muffler oulets to help scavenge the exhaust out of the muffler due to atmospheric pressure. Looks good man.

Exclamation More

It's a single in, dual out. I don't think there is 8" of pipe after the muffler, should I be worried about this?

I had it installed a midas place, shouldn't they know this sorta thing?? Let me know.
