Corsa Exhaust - What's the difference?

The Sport is $1k and the DB is half the price.

What's the difference between these two units? I've listened to YouTube videos until I'm blue in the face.

I want to like the Borlas but can't stand the videos with the guys gassing it while sitting in the parking lot.

Thanks for the help.

Btw, I'm driving an 08' Supercrew 5.4 with 35's so not wanting much more noise in the cab.

What's up with the Borla cat backs?

I was under the impression that the DB was mild sounding, t-409, the Touring kit was mellow & T-304, the Sport was T-304, aggressive sounding, and the nice double outlet oval tip exiting OEM style.

They are crazy expensive and come with their ProXS muffler in 19"s. Better off with a nice smaller XR-1 if you want the Corsa aggressive note and having the system shop fabricated.

Darren,

From what I'm seeing on the Corsa that most of the people I saw on YouTube are probably running the DB. The sport is $1k and sure most people aren't going to spend that kind of money (I could be wrong). I'll do it if it's worth the money. The Borla is in between the two Corsa kits. I'm the type of person that likes to do it right the first time instead of replacing it later.

I'm looking at starting with an exhaust and CAI but not sure what to get in that area at this time since the list is endless. After these two mods I'll be ordering a programer from PHP.

Hey OP, I agree with you on the rev videos. They are completely pointless. A rev videos show you nothing about how it sounds while driving.

Sorry you couldn't find some more useful videos.

I just ordered a Corsa Sport exhaust for my 2012 Harley 6.2. I also like the Borla but the no drone quality of the Corsa is what sold me. I have the Roush cat back on it now and it drones a lot. It sounds awesome. But the drone is brutal on the highway.

I ordered the Corsa Sport. Ordered the kit for the Raptor because that's the one that fits the Harley F150. Hopefully this gets rid of the drone. I have the Roush CAI and Roushcharger and was hoping to install LT headers and get rid of the cats. But, I'll have to put that on hold if I think it will drone.

Also, I ordered direct from Corsa. $920 I believe. Can get it for the same price plus free shipping from a few other places. But that doesnt apply to me because I'm in Canada. So, I ordered from Corsa and they shipped the next day. They also gave me the a break on the shipping cost.

The DB is slightly more agressive than the Sport (Per Corsa).

The Sport utilizes 309 grade stainless throughout out and comes with dual exit tip which rasies the cost.

The DB is 409 grade Stainless and has a single exit exhaust tip.

Those are the differences.

At takeoff and WOT, the Corsa on my truck was louder than both my Magnapack as well as my XR-1. At cruise speed, the Corsa has NO drone. ZERO. ZILCH. NONE. It is almost inaudible below 1800 rpms when cruising. At 1800+ rpms, you can hear it, but it is more of a low Masseratti type growl that isw never imposing on the cab.
