Muffler Only

Eventually I would like to put a true dual exhaust on the truck, but it's not my main priority right now.
I would just like to swap the stock muffler for a deeper more aggressive sounding one. I would like to keep all existing stock pipe in place if possible.

Anybody have any good choices of just muffler with stock piping?

2005 Fx4 5.4L

What size is the pipe 2.5"

Pipe should be 2.5". A borla ProXS/Turbo XL (they are the same muffler just different name) would make for a great swap.

Get the same as what your stock muffler is. I believe it is center in and out.

Don't bother with a true dual system. Money waste unless your going to race the truck.

Xx2! I just went FROM True Dual to Si/So! Love it...

Sounds better, runs better, feels better. Don't even waste your $$ on it man.

Single or duals. Just different sounds performs the same if duals are 2.25".

Dynomax bullets will be one of the best bangs for your buck swap. Will give you good sound for cheap and with stock cats they aren't overly loud.

If you don't want it overly loud, a larger Magnaflow, Larger Borla XR-1, or Larger Borla Multicore will also do you well.

By larger, I mean 20"+

How "aggressive" do you want it? lol

I love my borla pro xs mufflers. Deep aggressive tone, not obnoxious.
