Ok, another option. How do you guys think it would sound if i just replaced the stock muffler with a bullet and kept everything stock? My wife isn't find of exhaust on trucks and of me spending too much. Would you guts still recommend the bullet or something else to get a nice deep growl? I was surprised on how nice it actually sounded stock.

Thanks.

Ya lol I wish they came out on both sides too. Your exhaust is sweet lol. The SLP is nice for someone on a budget who wants a loud kit and still get the perks of a better kit.

A Borla ProXS/Turbo XL would work. Cheaper to have stock muffler removed and a new one put in its place for sure. Women just don't understand the importance of a good exhaust.

Ok, so I'm still undecided lol. I like the bullet, but I've heard a few more mag's and i like them too. What would be louder, a magnapack or a regular short magnaflow? I love the corsa, but there's no way i can spend that much dough. What do you guys think would be closest to that? Still probably going no tip for now.

Thanks.

Borla is where it is at.

Sounds like you would be more suited for the Borla S-type, their most aggressive muffler.

Magnaflow Magnapack over a regular oval Magnaflow.

I haven't really heard a borla that i liked, plus i can't justify spending that much on a muffler, same reason i won't go with corsa.

seems like the options are magnapack, bullet, and possibly mbrp?? Anyone have a mbrp, how does it compare to the other 2?

Thanks

Out of those choices, I say Magnapack. As i prefer the high volume and deep toned sound. I do not like the sound of the MBrP kits except for on diesel trucks.

That's kind of what I've gathered about mbrp, and that some people note a slight loss in low end. Do you know the p/n for the magnapack? I'm assuming going 3" from the y back would be the best bet? Or does it make that big a difference over the stock pipe?

Thanks man.

Ivr decided to go with the magnapack. Does anyone know the pn for the 3 inch? Also, I'm planning on potting a turndown after the axle, or right behind the rear tire tucked up close to thefender so you can hardly see it. Which do you guys think would sound better?

Thanks

Hey Tron, I also run the 3" Maggiepack. The part number is 14419 and that should do it for ya. I would dump it after the axle just to keep the noise away from the cab to be honest. I'm just a tip guy so I like to see exhaust tips but you can do whatever.

Thanks man. How do you like the sound? I've always had turndowns on my trucks, just a personal preference i guess. I like the old chevelle style too, tucking it up under the rear fender well so you can barely see anything.
