High flow cat question?

Hey guys,
I am new on here and was wondering...I have a single in and single out 2.5" borla pro xs muffler with the factory cats still...I have 2 factory cats on my truck and both have the 02 sensor in them...I found part # 94136 from magnaflow that has the 02 bung in them. Will these make the truck a little louder also? I would like to get a little more tone out of it but not super loud. Just didng know if anyone had these with a si/so muffler and how it sounded after you installed them. Thanks

It most certainly will. You will be very pleased with the way that Borla wakes up!

I've got the exact same cats (94136). It was night and day difference in sound and really caught me off guard (in a good way).

I was hoping it would help. Did the high flows set a check engine light at all? I figured they wouldn't but wasn't completly sure. I ordered the cats last night...be glad to get them on the truck haha.

No check engine light at all and i've had them for 8 months. If your shop is good they will let it run a while and check all around with mirrors for leaks and/or mis-welds like my shop did. They were skeptical about the cats when I brought them in but after the install their eyes were like O_O on start up. I guess they don't do much cat work unless they were bad cats.

Eh oh well it is money spent but i'm a young guy and I'd do about anything for a good sounding ride. The truck sounds orgasmic around campus and tight city streets holy GOD!

Nice man you can never go wrong with a Cobra. Do you have videos of that? We may have to change this over to PM so we don't clog up the forums lol. I recently helped a friend bolt on a Borla cat back system on his 05 GT. Actually I think he just two Stingers and kept the stock pipes but put on 4" SS tips. Sounds killer.
