Ordered High-flows

Ordered two Maggy high flows 94106, can't wait to get them on. I have a Flowmaster 40 series on right now.

Did you mean to say get a Borla?

The Flowmaster will hold up for a good while, unless its very rusted I wouldn't expect it to fail too soon.

^This. I am going Borla @ some point. First I am going to get rid of this 40 and just run the thrush glasspack I have in front of it now. My truck is almost too quiet but at least the drone is gone with that glasspack added in.

My buddy's 2003 F150 just got a pair of high flows on with super 44's and it sounds exactly the same as before, maybe just a hair louder! I was shocked they sound so sexy with the Magnapack I have. I don't have the heart to tell him it sounds like poo on his truck.

Are you both 100% positive that the shop didn't only replace the rears with hi-flows and left the front cats?

I looked under there myself and saw a pair of 94106s. I mean there's a chance of that because I didn't look at it on a lift, just on the street. I doubt that the shop would forget the precats. I'll ask him next time!

It isn't so much as forgetting, they may have purposely avoided them to cover themselves since they could possibly be the guy's fault for failing inspection if the inspector proves it came OEM with 4. Then the guy would be able to get two more added in by the shop free which is good for him if he is lucky and all but yeah, it could be a hassle. Up here no shop would replace my '04s 4 cats with just two. Ticked me off so I ended up hacking the rear two myself.

I'll ask him next time I see him. Luckily we don't have inspections here in Tennessee, thank God haha. However, not many around here have high flows like me and it's obvious how animalistic mine is compared to others.

For sure! I was going to get hi-flows but a leaking manifold has me wanting to wait out for longtubes with hi-flows. A little more costly but the performance benefits will be nice. Getting them in on the other hand...
