Idk man, regardless, I think that flowmaster's exhaust system just makes my truck sound too under powered as stated above. The cab drone is so ridiculous that when cruising down the highway you cannot hear anything what so ever. I suppose in the defense of flowmaster my exit is a turn down so maybe the sound waves are bouncing off the asphalt and soaking into the cab.

Im going to post videos on my flowmaster setup this weekend just so we can hear the difference when my borlas get put on.

I seriously concur with the whole cat thing. Sound great on my Big Block. I have 40s on there now, switching to 10s soon.

There's you're problem. I don't use turn downs and I don't have any talking issues with mine and my exhaust is as loud if not louder than most trucks on here.

Before I replaced my DPFE, IAC is next. It is idling much better than in this video.

That exhaust sounds sweet. Time for a battery soon?? Sounded like a bit of a slow start to me

Optima is over rated. Napa gold is a fair priced battery, offered in 800cca or 1200, and lasts very well.

I know I am sick of my flowmaster 40 in my truck. Haven't fully decided on replacement as I am a bit low on funds. A damn thrush glasspack would probably sound better and have less drone than this damn thing I have now.

I bought those two borlas and that maggy x pipe for about 270 online @ summit. Im going to just get the pipes myself and have a friend of mine weld it up, everyone around here wants far too much for exhaust. As you can see in my pics its going to be a super easy job, since I dont have to run any new piping.

Agreed, in high in sight I would much rather have spend 200 bucks on something that would have lasted longer than 3 years, seems it is just out of warranty too! Hopefully its not totally dead. Ive been told Optima yellows need to sit on a charger for a long time every now and again. Luckly I have an old f250 sitting out side so I swipped the battery out of it until I find a replacement.
