Pacesetter head LT 5.4L 04

Im wanting to install some headers on my 04 fx4 5.4L... I want to know if these pacesetter headers LT are worth it. They are set at a good price. Would i be able to have cats with this? Any pros or cons? any recommendation? not looking forward to spending 1200 for dynatech heads.

Get the ceramic ones. $354 or so. Dewser on here just had some installed and loves them. Good USA built quality, fitment was great, and they are holding up well.

Yes, definitely. Grab some Magnaflow #94136 units and an exhaust shop can make them work.

If you're going with duals......you'll need either 2 SI/SO or one DI/DO.

i just installed pacesetter lt on my 04

buy the obx kit..
its complete and you will be happier!!

wish i did!!

I got the headers at a really really cheap price
but all the extras have cost me a ton

there is no room for cats that are cheap and ALOT of modification
to the y pipe is needed...

if you dont mind me asking.. what was the cost all said an done? I need more Tone and aggressive sound and i herd LT's where the way to go. Some say you can run them with catz and some say no? im confused.

i was referring to the amount of catalyst converters need.. can no long stand Four catz on my truck.
I am running a SI/DO race muffler with hi-flow magna catz with 2.5 tips, 2.5 tubing.
WHAT would be a good LT header, if any, for my truck? (at a reasonable price range)

Maybe it was just because my setup I a custom, true duals setup, but there were zero fitment/modification issues in my case.

Also, it's enough for a good exhaust shop to fabricate the pipes to the headers any way you go. The charge from my exhaust shop for that was $100.

I run the OBX kit and did the install myself. It was easy and all the needed parts were there, but I'd like to have it fully welded, instead of the clamps. I went with the no-cat version, as we don't emissions test way up north. Coupled with my Borla XR-1 muffler, it'll shake the heart in your chest as I pass you on the road.
