Cut Out Exhaust

Buddy of mine had a friend do cut out exhausts.
He takes the stock and cuts it out and makes a switch.
So it sounds like a normal badass truck but then switchs the cut out and its the loudest ive ever heard a truck, really mean too.

I wanted to know if anybody knew where i can get that done? or if it was even a good idea? haha

But if you're dead set on having your truck sound like a 'normal badass' only part-time, why are you asking us where to have it done, like? Like, didn't you say, like, your friend's, like, friend, like, does it, and, like, stuff?

WOW!!

So you go ahead and make fun of a nineteen year old? Does that make you happy, do you get a joy out off that?

ak_cowboy -
I didn't search for it because I figured I could ask you guys and get a better opinion, isn't that why you join? Ask questions, and meet cool people?

Guess not, instead I get some guys making fun of me. Thanks.

Thanks for the help.

Well lookee here - a cogent response. That is certainly a step in the right direction.

Bud - you really can't play the "I'm just a kid" card, be cool and drive a truck all at the same time.

In most parts of the world, included my part, 19 qualifies you as an adult, with all the rights, privileges, and responsibility that come along for the ride. May want to keep that in mind.

So - Either hand in yer man card, or keep it - you can't do both at a whim.

This happens to be an adult truck forum - so make yer decision. The URL for rthe Fisher-Price forum is here: http://www.fisherpriceplay.ca/join/

And - you really need to lighten up - this is just our way of greeting you - a little hazing and wedgie action is good for y'all.

You will have to admit your were a trifle vague, hmmm?

Looks like you got the help you need - let the other stuff just run off you like water on a duck. Okay?

OK, enough BS'in - to bidness, then ...

Here's a couple links I found by applying AK's advice:

Sorry, but your questions were kind of hard to understand. Hardly anyone here runs cutouts anyways. They're loud, but you lose power when they're open on non-boosted motors. Hope that helps

Your right... should have known it was somewhat of a greeting, and not to say, "Like" to much haha.

Ill keep the man card and admit I was trifle vague, the fisher-price was really funny. Ill stay on this site make sure I open the door before i ask more so a stupid question.
Yeah pretty much, live and learn. Water under the bridge.

Thanks for links, read up on them. The cut-out probably not the best way to get a louder exhaust.

Ak_cowboy - Thanks for the input, I didn't know i'd lose power. Know of any good exhaust kits that'll sounds good without losing power? I've been reading up on Borla and Flowmaster.
Do you know anyone on the Forum that has this

http://www.summitracing.com/search/D...?Ns=Rank%7cAsc

On another note, my exhaust is short. It's end is in the middle of my truck. Will an exhaust kit fix that? Or am I going to need to add a extra pipe?

Thanks for the help you guys.
