anyone removed rear cats on an 08

i want to remove the rear cats on my 08. is there any way to mod the 02 sensor like with the non foulers. has any one done this on an 08

Good luck. There are only two large cats on all trucks built after Jan 2005. Dec 2004 to 1997 all had 4. The way to make a 2 cat system louder would be a hi-flow cat replacement.

thanks for the info. is there a way to clear the code. or i guess tell your engines computer to ignore it without a programmer. will a programmer even do that with a custom tune. is there a brand of high flow cat you recommend.

A hi-flow cat swap should not trigger a code. The O2s need re-mounted, or you need to install them into a O2 bung mounted cat like stock.

so i guess the answer is buy headers and a gryphon tuner, with custom tune for parts and removed cats, recycle the cats for cash...
