searchng for info on an Intake and exhaust

I am researching CAI and exhuast for my 05 5.4L v8

I was thinking a CAI package with dual Exhaust, to maximize my mods should I look in to Headers? a 80mm throttle body? Hi-flow cats? a programmer?

Im not totally sure what exactly works best or what system is best,

Will just my proformance improve? Will i get better MPG? what should i expect?

Thanks in advance for all info.

*EDIT*

> CAI - next-best thang to ZERO tangible or useful DD gains.
> Exhaust - some low-end TQ gains possible if sized correctly but mostly just for tone - lotsa puurty sounds though - just say 'NO' to Fartmaster
> Programmer - very tangible gains and vastly improved shifting - always go custom IMHO
> 04+ F150's with slot style MAF's ( like yers) - MUST run custom tuning (or canned with revised MAF TF ) for any CAI/WAI to render it safe
