Exhaust manifold leak
#17
This
I had my one side done last year and 2 or 3 studs/ bolts replaced on the manifold and exhaust flange on the other side. cost me around 600 all in I believe.
Took it to a place called zoro muffler- local exhaust shop (but not a performance one either)

I replaced mine about a year ago I got the JBA shorty headers, it wasn't an insurmountable job but it was tricky I used the welding method for the broken studs and that was the best way i found to do it I used this write up/ guide but I didn't touch the Y pipe (left it original) that combined with the magnaflo really woke the truck up. http://www.frontiernet.net/~jmray/F250ExhMani.htm

Is it bad that I have this issue and my first thought is that I should just buy a new ecoboost? lol. I talked to the service advisor I've dealt with in the past and he said (while looking it up on his handy dandy computer) that it shows a "kit" that costs $800! With labor and all said and done it would be well over $1000 to get this fixed? I love my 04 but to me this is not worth it. I've been wanting a new truck for some time now....maybe its time?
