dynomax bullet part number

hello all. looking to get a dynomax bullet for my 2010 4.6l stx. is there going to be any difference in tone/ performance with using with either the 16 or 23 inch long muffler? im going to get the 2.5 in and 2.5 out but im not sure if the two differ in any other way. thanks fellas.

Umm... the larger the volume in that muffler, the quieter it will be. You can get more sound absorbing material in a bigger muffler.

i kinda figured it had something to do with decibel level or tone. is the shorter of the 2 dramatically louder than the longer version or or they somewhat close? i want it loud but not rediculous either. thanks.

There will be a significant difference between those 2 mufflers.

I had 12" Bullets on my old truck. Nothing funny car about them, just real loud and unbarring inside.
