I was wanting to put a quite strait though muffler on my 99 4.6 as the OP wants. After reading this thread I decided to go with the magnaflow 12216. Can I just add a piece of pipe and weld the muffler on. Or will the offset of my factory set up make to were, I will need the pipe bent? Thanks for any help.
