Okay so I already done the gott mod with a drop in kn filter on my 07 5.4 fx2. But I want more. All three kits pull air from the fender have a opening behind the headlights and volant has a scoop for our trucks and I think s&b does too. Out of these 3 kits. Don't care about price which one of these would have the best performance? I don't want a open filter intake. Thanks :cheers:

 

Alls I can think of is that you already have great air flow with the gotts mod....if you go with one of these you should think about getting a custom tune for it....the new air intake tube will relocate the maf sensor out of its original transfer function location.....the other thing is you may or may not get a droning noise while in overdrive cruising at highway speeds and if you do it gets old after awhile.....if you really want one go with the S&B

S&B is an excellent kit, but the drone reports have been pretty high from them. As long as it is tuned and enclosed you will be good to go.

 

S&b sounds good and will look good. How does it compare to volant and banks in your experiences. Also is it a improvement over the gotts? Cause honestly I can tell the difference btw stock and the gotts v

 

If all your looking for is hp, then your wasting your time imo.

 

Well I'm just looking for a good intake and gotts mod does not cut it for me. I'm not looking for hp just something a little better then the gotts. I had a cai on my 04 and liked the sound. But the k&n sucked.
