well seafoam is supposed to celan out all the carbon in the intake. its probly bad cuz people pour it in the brake booster line too fast and make the engine hydrolock

Alot of people will bash seafoam, i myself have had good luck with it. i dont pour it in the oil or gas, just do the induction. Unhook your pvc and let it suck it in from the can... the lincoln i have had a small problem with rough idle and a little pinging and seafoam fixed it. I did the seafoam treatment and so far it hasnt come back.

1. Make sure your engine is warm
2. have a buddy start your truck
3.unhook pvc
4. let the pvc suck the seafoam slowly and have buddy keep the revs up so truck wont die.
5. after about a 1/2 a can kill truck and let it sit for 15-20 mins.
6. Start truck and let er smoke for a few minutes while reving the motor
7. Drive the hell out of it for a few miles

Let us know if it helped

^^^^^^^^^^^ What he said is how you do it. My brother used it on his 98 GMC with 155K miles two and a half years ago and the thing still runs perfect. Fixed a ping or lifter clatter and really helped with compression and performance on an older engine. I am sure it may not be for everyone but it worked for him.
