Not really. I only paid $105 shipped for my Borla 40364 muffler. IMO you get what you pay for with mufflers.

I think I came up with a good idea. Instead of going with the 11's, I'll go with a pair of 14's and have them clamped on so I can change back and forth if I want. My new question is... is there a sound and volume difference between the 4x9's and 5x8's?

I'm going to possibly need another if I go true dual. I am on the fence about having one sit boxed up in the garage.

If I had to guess punisher, I would say the 5x8 will be a hair quieter, and probably a hair deeper. The 5x8 has more volume inside the case for more noise cancellations and such.

There are a few models of the 11" body. I found the #11366 to be the best as it was 2.5", and it ran in the middle more. The other version which is offset on the same end seemed like it may have absorbed too much sound. There mostly in 2.25" and 2.5" Check them out on Summit.

Compared to the offset on one side version, its quite possible. Then again it might not be either. It is a hard guess.

IMO the sound is very similar, it is more volumed down of coarse but still the same tone, just a little more smoother sounding. There all straight through as they are a quality Magnaflow performance product.

I ran dual 11"s before I got the Bullets.

Should not be any difference in tone at all, just fr fitment purposes.

How was the drone with the 11's? I can take a good amount, just not Magnapack amount anymore. After watching your video I'm torn again lol. I like the aggressive note while still being pretty tame.

punisher, I dont remember if you recall the setup you suggested me but imo it sounds very agressive and has almost no drone at all. I even took it on a 8 hour (all HWY) road trip last spring break with my gf and she didnt notice.

I don't want to have all the pipes taken out for a SIDO. Just wanting to do a muffler swap.

As I have mentioned a few times the drone really was not bad at all. Even with the rear cats removed, and 2.5" duals, mufflers 4"s apart under bed, it was nice and quiet. A little too quiet in fact which is why I had swapped back in '10.

Here was the interior sound video I did before adding the loud 33s.

Check out the WOT in Tunnel video I have. Can only hear it under strain, on a flat ways it was too quiet. Granted a Supercab with a 6'5 box has a longer exhaust than your single cab.

I would strongly suggest them if you want to retain your loudness under throttle.

That last video pretty much sold me on the 11's. Plan on getting them sometime in September.
