I'm lookin at 3 options myself, the 5x8x14 ovals, 5"x14" and the 6"x18"

Time to end the hotrodded monster truck noise emissions. Heres part of why, towing the 25ft toy hauler, I actually am startled when it downshifts in the middle of the night, sounds like the driveline snapped and the revs skyrocket. Heres a video towing up a hill by the house, no idea what % incline.

I have flown in personal air planes quieter than that . That isn't just drone, thats groan, moan, and growl

Yeah, the bullets were great for the first few months.......then it got old. It got really old when I started having an hour commute to work for several months. The drone is just too much.

Plus everyone on the road thinks you're trying to race them. I've noticed a huge increase in the number of cars that stomp the gas next to me at a red light.

I'm making my purchase tomorrow and am hoping to get it installed by the end of next week.

Thats what I started with on this truck. I would go Borla Turbo XL over the 18" magnaflow if i went back to a bigger can like that.

100% agree. The drone is ridiculous on commutes. Sounds mean as hell and everyone hears you coming, but its just too loud in the cab sometimes. Ive had it for 2 years just about.

Are you thinking about switching for the tone or the volume? If volume, is it too loud or too quiet for you?

Heres my first exhaust setup. Turn your volume all the way up. I dont want this quiet again. Borla PRO XS seems like it will be perfect for me.

I've pretty much decided on putting on a Borla 40364 muffler before my ROR muffler. The ROR and the catted OBX long tubes it's just too much. The mufflers are identically sized body wise. The Borla 40364's body is 14" and the in/out is 2.5", so I'll have 24" of muffler total. Hope it kills my nasty farm boy glass pack sounding high throttle acceleration and cabin drone. :o

^ Center in/out. Good choice! That should calm her down quite a bit.

I sure as Hell hope so. I'm just going to clamp it in, in case it still doesn't sound right.

A little bit of both.. would like it a tad quieter and a little deeper.. if that is possible, or makes sense! lol...
I really do like my Magnaflow, its just that sometimes on the highway, it does drone slightly.. i have factory full cats and an aftermarket "Y"..

I just like to change it up once in awhile.. i mean, i love the truck, but i have had it for 9 years..
