Yeah, it is really starting to grow on me. I have a fly-by video as well but the video quality came out horrible, it's not even worth uploading. The part I could here through the bad sound quality was awesome though.

I am going to try and get more videos today, including one from the interior while driving.

Thanks for the comment!

Yep, no worries. I know you put a lot of time into this decision. I'm going through that right now. I hope you ultimately feel satisfied with your decision. I think it sounds great.

The Corsa muffler has no packing inside. Check out the Corsa website and you can see a cut away of the muffler.

Yeah doesn't't look like there is any packing. It might be getting louder or better toned from the truck computer learning the new exhaust. It definitely has developed more tone than a few days ago. I am glad it can't get overly loud from packing material....this thing its loud enough outside. LOL

False. There is nothing at all for the truck to learn. It is a pure mechanism swap you did, nothing electronic, or air/fuel ratio adjusting.

Your videos however sound excellent, that kit sounds real damn good. Can still hear it inside but the way you explained it sounded like not at all, there is rumble noise just no bassy drone? Sounds very good.

I thought when you switched out the exhaust the truck had to reprogram for the difference in flow/pressure/etc (the reason people do the negative battery trick?). Thought I read that somewhere. I am new to this stuff though so maybe I am completely off. haha

Either way, it does seem to sound different today than even a few days ago, or maybe I didn't notice it before. As you metioned there is a rumbling sound and it is as you described it, a rumble but not a drone. There is drone upon initial acceleration (like in the videos), but that quickly disappears. The only way I can really descirbe the sound is as a "growl". It still is not loud inside like some of the magnapack/bullet videos floating around though. It just sounds..."different". Hard to really explain it.

I understand what you are describing. I have a drone preference actually, just a bit of it, not one like the old truck where 45mph cruising rumbled though

I hear you. The drone while accelerating is actually kind of cool sounding. It isn't that loud and obtrusive WAAAAAAA but a really deep tone with some "thump" mixed in with it.

I will try and get some videos with the windows down as well.

The freeway sound in the video is probably louder than it is in actuality. It is very quiet once you move up to cruise speed. It is probably more pronounced in the video.

I am thinking I might have a local shop convert my SISO Corsa kit to SIDO (45'd out the read-sides). Wouldn't mind hearing it more out the driver side. I wonder what it would sound like.

Really starting to enjoy the exhaust now. It seems to be breaking in or something because it sounds better and better each day.
