I've seen every Youtube F150 vid possible, . Well, exhaust at least, I have seen all the Corsa clips. That does sound pretty wicked actually. I liked the tone it gave.

If you are saying the Corsa kits are only $500 some, I may have to reconsider my planned exhaust.

Yeah, the Corsa kit for the 2009-2010 trucks are about $500 (a little less with coupons/discount codes). The Corsa Sport kits are quite a bit more (though I am sure you could find one on sale somewhere). Check for your model year at the DB performance website and see what is available.

John, as far as I know, Corsa/DB Performance do not sell the mufflers alone for our trucks.

That Corsa one sounds pretty slick. I really like that Magnaflow 12198. I'm currently trying to decide between that one and the Borla ProXS 40349. There's only a $7 difference in the mufflers. Ark, I notice you have the Magnaflow listed along with some pretty potent sounding mufflers. I have been bugging Darren to death with questions on which way to go. Anyone have any thoughts for me? I have a 2010 FX4 SuperCrew. Thanks!

Some say the 2009-2011 trucks have cats very similar to high-flows, so I would imagine your truck would sound similar.

Darren, looks like DB has the same setup for your truck as well:

Maybe just a little less throatier than the guy who has LTs, hi-flows, and Corsa DB.

Its funny how they get such a rumble out of such a fat muffler. If it had twin tailpipes I would be buying it probably.

You could always take it to a shop and have them to the SI/DO with a Y-pipe I imagine. Of course, you are already at about $500 for just the kit.

Yeah thats the catch. My upcoming exhaust is $291 in parts alone. My installer guy is going to try to mandrel bend it all in T-304, so it will be another $350 or so for install/labor.

Are you are doing an XR-1 setup (when I priced one out it came to similar)?

I am still on the fence on what I want to do. The Corsa seems to fill every "need" I want in an exhaust, but the part about not really hearing it at all inside unless you are accelerating is a little off-putting. I keep hearing about tone, but do you only hear the tone when you are outside? lol It is tough to tell what the interior really sounds like unless you have a high quality video ad I haven't seen any online. Having said that, I must admit, I have not really seen any complaints from people regarding the Corsa/DB system. Everybody seems to really like it.

The thread here where the guy put the 12198 in his truck and said it was way too loud, makes it really hard to consider the Magnapacks since those are even louder.

Ughh...decisions decisions....

I wouldn't hesitate to give the Corsa a try. I almost convinced myself to try the Sport kit but I will want twin tailpipes with longer tips so it would be too expensive, better off going custom.

Consider that guy had the new louder 5.0L, even though the 14" sounds pretty beastly on the '09/'10 5.4L with manifolds like shortys, and cats like hi-flows.

As for what muffler I am choosing, that is classified information, you will hear it when it happens in a couple weeks .
