thanks DarrenW6! I remember asking him if changing the exhaust would make a difference, and he said something about the CATs but I cannot remember what..

Which Muffler would you say you liked more, the Magnapacks or the bullets?! I watched your vids on Youtube, but cant really decide

I never ran the Magnapacks. My first set of mufflers were the Magnaflow 11" bodies. They were a 4"x9" case. They were alright but too damn quiet on a 2004 4 cat truck.

Me and a bud cut the rear cats out after 2,000 miles were on the exhaust, Sounded a good bit better and gradually got louder. After I put over 20,000 miles on the exhaust it sounded excellent but still lacked some super far distance volume throw and wasn't noisy enough inside. The idle was quiet too which bugs me, I like to hear the idle from a good few yards away.

I switched to the Bullets and after 10,000 miles they were pretty much well burnt in, quite loud. I did like the very loud deep toned exterior note but the interior drone gave me headaches when I wasn't in a fun happy mood.

To conclude the comparison I did like the Bullets more, except for the interior drone at 2000rpm when I wanted it a little quieter. Radio tuned it out a little but the exhaust tone was still there along with a vibration in the floor. I originally wanted the Magnapacks but I was offered two #24215 Bullets for $50 shipped, how could I deny that.
