True Dual Advice (1991 F-150 5.0)

I am going to take my '91 F-150 in to get true duals next weekend, and could use a little advice. I would like to get the loudest, most aggressive sound out of my truck. Noise in the cab does not bother me, so I'm not too worried about that.

It is a 5.0 V-8 and I'm just not sure how to go about this..if any of you all could help point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it a LOT.

Thank you all for your time,

Jon

Second notion on the 2.5" bullets but H or X. Bullets are the loudest you can go while still maintaining an aggressive sound. Rip off those cats and your truck will scream. Put some LTs on and Ill be able to hear you from california.

you can help gain the "aggressive" sound you want just by adding headers. If you don't have to worry about emissions, screw the cats, ditch them and never look back. Look on youtube to help you decide which muffler would suite you better. Just don't go straight pipe.

Although an x pipe is great its not the choice you want to go with unless your taking your truck to the track on weekends but if your going to use it for truck purposes such as towing or off roading you want an h pipe it gives you more torque where the x gives you 10 to 15 percent less torque wich in turn you feel a heck of a lot more than the 4 horses you gain at the top end with an x pipe
