It's not going to roar with the stock 4 cats in place. You will get a little sound/rumble with your SI/DO setup, but you will most likely be disappointed with any muffler you choose. The four cats just rob too much sound potential. You should be able to delete your rear cats without a check engine light, because if I am not mistaken, there are no o2 sensors after your rear cats on your 2004.
Also, If you really want to hear it a couple blocks away, then start thinking true duals, rather than SI/DO. You will get more sound with a true dual setup.

this might be a dumb question but is there a difference in sound if my tips run straight out the back or out the sides behind the tires? and what do u think look nicer?

Deleting the 2 rear cats with a SIDO system will still be a great exhaust. I would go dynomax bullet over the super 10, but then again I havent heard a super 10 on an F150 with the 2 rear cats deleted...

i have a super 10 si/do on my truck without the cats deleted and 4in x 18in tips coming out at a 45 and i love the way it sounds.. i dunno about hearing it 2 blocks away unless im getting on it a bit but otherwise its got a nice deep rumble. i would imagine if you delete the rear cats it would be plenty loud
