It clamps over an exhaust pipe then bolts to the frame wherever you need.

so should i just get those instead of buying clamps and hangers seperate?

No definitely not. Clamps don't cost a lot, I'd use clamps then put the hanger anywhere you might need it. The one in that picture looks way too weak to hold tight, but if it's just holding pipe up not together it would be fine.

so where would i put the hangers and how many do you think i would need roughly?

That I can not tell you, where ever you need them basically.
All the hangers gotta do is hold the exhaust up.

ok so all i need is a sawzall and that thrush welded muffler and some clamps and hangers and thats it no welding needed?
