x2. Single bullet with a Y pipe to the outlet for tails.

Then i'm certain you have ran into a couple of my videos. I had the 2004 4 cat system which was as quiet as the '97 - '03 systems, dropped the rear cats, 2.5" true dualed, ran 11" Magnaflow ovals then 4"x12" round Bullets. It is heard very well, clearly, and deep toned.

Flowmaster Super 10 sounds better than the Super 44, and is equivalent to the Cherry ExtremelyCheapAzzMuffler, go with the Super 10 if you end up liking the chambered sounds, but after hearing Mig's truck I doubt you will.

Yeah my exhaust isn't a budget friendly setup, I have over $600 invested.

Single 12" bullet, $39.99, Magnaflow Y pipe adapter, $27, install labor, $100 - $150 avg, your choice of tips, $40 - $100 give or take.

okay that would probably be the best option for me if i were to go the bullet route. i'm not gonna get into removing the cats because i'm not tryin to sink a lot of money into this truck. but the price of the bullet and y pipe option doesn't really sound too bad cost wise

I had my stock muffler replaced with a single magnaflow from the local shop, it had a nice deep sound but wasn't loud at all. 2 days ago I un bolted it to see just how load it would be with straights, to my surprise with the 4 cats, it wasn't that loud at all. Went back to local shop and had them cut my y-pipe and run another pipe along side of the stock one, they stop just behind the rear door. I then went to the local walmart and purchased 2 tips, turned them down and toward the passenger side. Sounds great, a little loud in the cab, so the next stepp will be adding some more pipe. Glad I did this before I ordered the $500 plus exhaust kit.
