He must be tripping ***** on some LSD or something. I don't think anything else could cause him to say such blasphemous things!

Bingo

And they are just screwing with you on the flowmasters because they think they have the same exact effect as a potato in your tailpipe. Notice they all have other brands in their sigs.

But I took my truck to San Antonio Raceway and ran down the drag strip a few times just to see how much it really "killed" my performance. I did a few runs without the flowmaster and a few with the flowmaster. I only lost .08 seconds having the the series 40 si/so. Do you really notice .08 seconds in real life? No. Intake air temp has a larger effect than the muffler and I've got the time slips.

have the shop weld round metal plates over the exhaust tips, then punch a few holes in them with a drill. this will allow you to fine tune your system backpressure to meet your preferences. start with 6-8 holes, drive it, then add more 2 at a time to slowly lessen the backpressure to whatever degree feels right to you.

^ i read about the cheese grater effect in another forum but it was to do with the stock muffler, it was the cheaper alternative towards getting a deep tone

and u can still keep the clean tips
