I should also mention that I've had an MBRP kit in the past on my '08 FX4 and didn't like the sound at all. It sounded "airy" (if that makes sense) and I think it's because they used a 3 1/2" mid-pipe from the y-pipe back instead of the standard 3". However the kits for the '09+ use a 3" mid-pipe and sound great..... very throaty with a lot of volume. I'm sure some of that is due to the better design of the '09+ stock headers/cats too though. We all know that I'll have to see what a Magnapack sound like on this truck at some point in time.
Damn dude. '08 Wasn't new enough to mod out like that? GL man, and yes ther better manifold and cat design does work better in these new model trucks. I can't wait to hear some upcoming 5.0 & 6.2 sounds though. Going to try to get a 6.2 for my next truck.
