So i want a Dynomax bullet But....

Ive seen much talk about just going with a 3" bullet instead of 2.5" or 2.25" and cant really see whats difference in all the discussion.

SURE its probably just opinion but is there really a difference?

Im coming off a dronemaster, pardon me i mean a flowmaster 40 series and want something new.

would it be possible to just swap out the flow for the DyMax?

many thanks to any input planning to make an order this week

3" will be louder and sound better and give you the "most tq gains" from a muffler. 2.5" is the stock piping size.

Stock 2.5" is restricted for higher end and mid range power, the stock Y pipe is 2.5" banks merging into a 2.5" collector, called the Y pipe. Its restrictive. If you run 3" from the Y pipe ( with a new Y pipe if you would go so far to ordering, dual 2.5" to 3" single out ) to a full 3" exhaust will perform, sound, and flow much better.

The stock 2.5" mid pipe with a Magnaflow Y pipe will give you the absolute most low end torque. 3" will sound better and perform better in the mid range though. Most go with the single 3" for a happy medium between low and high RPM performance as well as sound.

Oh hell yeah, much deeper toned, and got gurglish sounding like there is water needing to evaporate inside a chamber.. Nice!
