Yeah I will, spent twenty minutes making them set up the tips properly on my old truck... Well I thought I would try a new shop and got burned for it.... I had talk to this shop about getting a price on putting the xpipe, mufflers and tips on that I bought... Asked for a price he said he would like to see it before he gives one. So he gave me a ball park figure on installing everything and says $400. So made an appointment and droppped it the truck off this morning... I called there to make sure he was gonna do my tips the way i wanted and dropped a bomb on me with a "the price I gave you, was only material" said he was gonna take five hours to do the job at @ 80 an hour plus tax... So needless to say it didnt get done and I called my usual guy and he said $285 - $350 max... So monday its going to be done.... I tell ya not a good way to get customers, I will have nothing good to say about that shop and will tell everyone to go else where, in fact anywhere but there....

Personally I like them more 45'd out each side.

I had them out the rear for about a year. then got rearended.
When that happened it pushed the whole system forward.

So I had to have it redone. Not covered by insurance since it was aftermarket.
It sounds better 45'd IMO too. I just clean the tips if they get dirty.
Key word get "Stainless" tips and it'll save allot of time.

Here's the best pic of the rear view I have. Not the best pics to show the exhaut but you get the idea.

Nice truck , strange parking habits.

Someone rear ends me and it's their fault, don't matter if it is aftermarket. It's a loss they caused.

My '77 has them angled at 45 or so degrees, but they are tucked up and also have a down turn at end. I had them 45 degrees on a '70 Chevy CST-10 once with chrome long tips, tips stayed dirty and the front side took a beating from pebbles, etc. Looked ok from rear though.

Good over all tone its 2.25" pipe, I told the shop to use what they thought would be the best size... Imporved throttle response and a little better low end grunt then stock.... Super pumped and very pleased with this set up!!
