I e-mailed borla and this is what they said about the Pro XS and Turbo XL

Thanks for your interest in Borla products. There is no difference
between the two mufflers. We make the Pro-XS muffler for the muffler
shops in mass quantity thus the lower price. Other than that, they are
the same.

Dude, that is not baffled, it's perforated. Summit does make mistakes. Flowmasters are baffled.

I dont understand why they dont just call it the same whether they sell to shops or not??

I'm getting alittle mixed up here, so someone please confirm my thinking:

pro xs/ turbo xl = the same.. cheaper muffler in line up, bigger oval style, quieter sound

xr-1 = most expensive, round muffler, smaller length, louder/deepest sound

XR-1 is closest to roush off rd sound.

Am i correct here?

Anybody have any idea what the Pro XS SO/DO sound would be? Thinking of maybe a lightning style. Don't wanna jack your thread, just a quick question.

Just did dual borla Xr-1's on my truck and you need to do it hands down! Ive had three different exhaust set-ups on my truck and this one is finally the right sound. I am going to try and get some vids up in this section in the next few days.

Turbo XL is a longer case. Turbo is the same as the pro xs. I already said this too.

My XR-1 doesn't look like that. It's straight through just like a Magnaflow but it definitely sounds different. It was drop shipped directly from Borla as well so I know it's the right muffler...... part number 40943 which is a 12" oval body.
