XR-1 will still drone. That deep deep sound you love so much comes with some drone. No way around it.

Yes i know. The roush kit was twice as deep, twice as loud as the maggie kits and yet the drone was nearly non existent compared to the maggie. So i gotta go the route i've learned from, and if it doesn't work out, the new muffler will be off in a heartbeat.

I sold it on ebay, went for what i was asking here so it worked out. I was really thinking to keep it but i don't really want the duals anymore. Too much to clean, they were a pain in the winter cause i snowmobile and sometimes throw the sled into the back of the truck and when i'd back into a snowbank to load/ unlaod i was always nervous to hit the tips. I'd much prefer to have the same set-up as stock but better sound.
I was thinking to order the banks kit, but give me a break at 600.00 for a si/so kit. They must be smoking crack.

So the Pro XS will be a little louder but is there any difference as far as technology wise...is one older than another?

I don't want something with a lot of drone in the cab do you think I should stay away with the type-s or xr-1 and play it safe and go with the turbo or pro xs?

no

Turbo is the exact same muffler as the Pro XS. The Turbo XL is a larger case muffler.
