Debating changing to Magnaflow 11" Bodies...

11365 - thats the part number. Center/Offset 11" bodied Magnaflow. Currently with 2 14" Borla Pro XS's but I just want more growl under throttle and idle. I also have high flow cats. How much worse would drone be with the 11" Maggies?

Shouldn't be that bad. Mine was barely there at all on cruise and 70mph highway. Sounded real nice and clean, good volume on acceleration and revs. The idle and low end put bored me so I switched to a round body muffler. Much happier.

You think maybe I should consider Magnapacks?

...or Bullets. There's a slight tone difference between the two. Magnapacks have a slightly higher pitched sound to them generally associated with Mustangs, while Bullets have that real deep and aggressive sound. Hop on Youtube and start comparing.

How much of a sound increase do you want? If a real noticeable one, then yes. Switch to Magnapacks or Bullets.

I like the tone I have, alot actually. It is real deep and throaty - but I just want it louder - especially at idle and at lower RPMs. (< 2000)

Oval body mufflers will not be loud at low end until you add Longtubes. So round body mufflers, or LT headers.

Round bodies. Cheaper and easier...leaning toward Magnapacks off the top of my head because of the stainless construction.

I'm happy with mine. Love the tone of them and you can pick them up for relatively cheap on performancepeddler.com with the coupon code "clubgp". What size were you planning on going?
